Integrity (2)

When we have integrity, we are honest to ourselves and others and stand up for what is right. We are not afraid to admit that we have done something wrong. Having integrity is important because our actions affect ourselves and others.

It is important to practice integrity when we face a moral dilemma. We experience peace of mind because we know what we have done is right even what it not always easy to stand up for what is right.

A community that values integrity is likely to be a safer place since people do not approve of acts like stealing or cheating. Acting with integrity builds mutual trust among the members of a community.

Everybody plays a part in up holding integrity no matter how small the action might be. When we make it a habit to exercise moral courage to do the right thing, we strengthen our commitment to uphold integrity.
