Believe That You Can Do Anything and You Will

Imagine yourself to be the type of person you want to be, and then be it. You may have to let go of some bad habits and develop some more positive ones, but don’t give up – for it is only in trying and persisting that dreams come true.

Expect changes to occur, and realize that the power to make those changes comes from within you. Your thoughts and actions, the way you spend your time, your choices and decisions determine who you are and whom you will be.

You are capable and worthy of being and doing anything. You just need the discipline and determination to see it through. It won’t come instantly, and you may backslide from time to time, but don’t let that deter you. Never give up.

Life is an ever-change process, and nothing is final. Therefore, each moment and every new day is a chance to begin anew.

Integrity (3)

“Honesty is the cornerstone of all success, without which confidence and ability to perform shall cease to exist.”

(Mary Kay Ash)

“Honour is better than honours.”

(Abraham Lincoln)

“A ‘no’ uttered from the deepest conviction is better than a ‘yes’ merely uttered to please, or worse, to avoid trouble.”

(Mahatma Gandhi) Indian Philosopher

“I have found that being honest is the best technique I can use. Right up front, tell people what you’re trying to accomplish and what you’re willing to sacrifice to accomplish it.”

(Lee Iacocca) American Industrialist

Integrity (2)

When we have integrity, we are honest to ourselves and others and stand up for what is right. We are not afraid to admit that we have done something wrong. Having integrity is important because our actions affect ourselves and others.

It is important to practice integrity when we face a moral dilemma. We experience peace of mind because we know what we have done is right even what it not always easy to stand up for what is right.

A community that values integrity is likely to be a safer place since people do not approve of acts like stealing or cheating. Acting with integrity builds mutual trust among the members of a community.

Everybody plays a part in up holding integrity no matter how small the action might be. When we make it a habit to exercise moral courage to do the right thing, we strengthen our commitment to uphold integrity.

Responsibility (3)

There was a most important job that needed to be done,
And no reason not to do it, there was absolutely none.
But in vital matters such as this, the thing you have to ask
Is who exactly will it be who’ll carry out the task?

Anybody could have told you that everybody knew
That this was something somebody would surely have to do.
Nobody was unwilling; anybody had the ability.
But nobody believed that it was their responsibility.

It seemed to be a job that anybody could have done,
If anybody thought he was supposed to be the one.
But since everybody recognized that anybody could,
Everybody took for granted that somebody would.

But nobody told anybody that we are aware of,
That he would be in charge of seeing it was taken care of.
And nobody took it on himself to follow through,
And do what everybody thought that somebody would do.

When what everybody needed so did not get done at all,
Everybody was complaining that somebody dropped the ball.
Anybody then could see it was an awful crying shame,
And everybody looked around for somebody to blame.

Somebody should have done the job
And Everybody should have,
But in the end Nobody did
What Anybody could have.

Responsibility (2)

When we are responsible, we do our part and we do it well.
We know what our duties are and we carry them out willingly.
We are dependable and trustworthy. People can count on us.

We are responsible in our actions because whatever we do will
have impact on ourselves and others. Sometimes, we may face
obstacles that may prevent us from being responsible. We need
to be aware of these obstacles and try our best to overcome them.

As responsible people, we take good care of ourselves and we choose
The right people as friends. We make responsible decisions by thinking
Carefully about our choices and how they will affect ourselves and others.
We take time for self-reflection and learn from our experiences in life.

A Positive Attitude Is the Key to Success

Before you say “I can’t,” Make sure you’ve already tried.
Before you let doubts stop you, confront them with facts.
Before reasons convince you it’s impossible, pursue the one reason that makes it possible.
Before failure enters your mind, hide success in your heart.
Before fear holds you back, go forward with faith.
Before problems interfere with your plans, use them to accomplish your goals.
Before you hold back because you think others are better, show them what a winner you are.
Before you settle for less, hold on to what is most important.
Before you believe there is no way, keep going and you’ll make one.
Before you give up, be at peace inside.
Before you dismiss your dreams, wait until they’ve come true.
Before you go looking for happiness, make your own where you are!

Respect (4)

Respect yourself- give yourself the best chance of growing and developing to your potential.
Be your own best friend; you are certain to have many likeable aspects- like yourself.
Protect and encourage the esteem of others- help make them fell good about themselves.
Strengthen your own self-esteem – change how you fell about yourself; encourage yourself with gusto.
Accept yourself, faults and all- acknowledge and affirm your good qualities.
Acknowledge your emotions as they arise- do not deny emotions, release them.
Meditate on how others see and experience you- envy and admire yourself.
Rid yourself of controlling influences, people, or substances that lead to self-deprecation.
Blame your ego for your problems, not other people.
Practice distinguishing your higher self from your daily self- bring the two into convergence.

Respect (3)

Confucius said: "A youth must be filial towards his parents and respectful to elders. To be filial towards one's parents and to respect one's elders is the root of bebevolence. He should love everyone but draw close only to those who demonstrate benevolence. Should he have energy to spare, let him spend it on reflecting on his work."

Respect (2)

A person demonstrates respect when he believes in his
own self-worth and the intrinsic worth of all people.

"If you want to be respected by others, the great thing is to
respect yourself. Only by that, only by self-respect will you
compel others to respect you."

Fyodor Dostoyevsky

Respect (1)

When we respect ourselves,we appreciate ourselves for who
we are.We believe in our talents and strengths. We are also
aware of our weaknesses and faults, and try to overcome them.

We care for our physical and emotional well-being. We do
ourbest, and preserve our dignitycand take pride in all that
we do.We do not allow others to take advantage of us.

Respect is the foundation of strong and harmonious relationships.
When relating to people around us, we respect them, whoever
they may be, regardless of race, religion, age, gender or status.

We appreciate that everyone is unique, and treat them in the way
we would like to be treated ourselves - with dignity, empathy, and kindness.

"RESPECT YOURSELF AND OTHERS WILL RESPECT YOU."

Winners VS Lossers

When a winner makes a mistake, he says, 'I was wrong'.
When a loser makes a mistake, he says 'It wasn't my fault'.

A winner works harder than a loser and has more time;
A loser is always "too busy" to do what is necessary.

A winner goes through a problem;
A loser goes around it, and never gets pass it.

A winner makes commitments;
A loser makes promises.

A winner says, " i'm good, but not as good as i ought to be;"
A loser says, " i'm not as bad as a lot of other people."

A winner respects those who are superior to him
And tries to learn something from them;
A loser resents those who are superior to him
And tries to find chinks in their armour.

A winner feels responsible for more than his job;
A loser says " i only work here".

A winner says, " there ought to be a better way to do it;"
A loser says, " thats the way its always been done here".

THE CHOICE IS YOURS... MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE TO BE A "WINNER"..
